Emrecan Ağtaş '15
Emrecan Ağtaş, a graduate in 2015, completed his undergraduate education at Kadir Has University and started his professional career as a Design Director at Hipo Stage. He continued working as a design director at Fikirbazzenger from 2016 to 2017.
He completed his master’s degree in Sonic Arts from Istanbul Technical University between 2017 and 2019. He founded the brand Zuhurat as a sound-focused design and production studio in 2019.
Currently, he is carrying out his brand and continuing his professional career as a full-time Imaging Products Director at CPF.
Haydar Bayındır & Safiye Özkan '20
Haydar Bayındır and Safiye Özkan, graduates in 2020, completed their undergraduate education at Kadir Has University and founded the brand Atelier Barb in 2020.
Developing innovative materials is one of the fundamental purposes of their studio. They increase social awareness and contribute to the objective of creating Sustainable Cities and Communities through the products they design and manufacture using regenerative materials for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals for Responsible Production & Consumption and Climate.
Having founded this studio on questioning every material they lay their hands on and encouraging all producers and consumers to do that, and this duo is continuing their career here.
Onur Koçan '14
Onur Koçan carried out design research at the University of the Arts London in the field of “Design for Social Innovation and Sustainability” in 2011. Having completed his undergraduate education at Kadir Has University, he founded Studio Karun. Started to serve as a founding member and founding president of the Association of Industrial Designers ENTA in the same year. He continued his career as a Design Strategist at the Architecture and Design Summit in 2015-2017, Design Week Turkey in 2016-2017, and Sinbo in 2017-2018.
He completed his master’s degree education at Parsons School of Design, New York, in the field of “Strategic Design and Management” and his award-winning thesis on the Development of Design Perspective in Local Governments in 2018-2020.
He is currently continuing his career as a Design Strategist at Studio Karun Inc., New York, and Senior Design Strategist for Tom Ollie and Crispy Bites. Koçan is also a member of the Civic Design Community.
Selin Koşağan '13
Selin Koşağan, a graduate in 2013, completed her undergraduate education and then received her master’s degree (MSc) from Coventry University in the field of “Industrial Product Design-Innovation and Creativity” between 2013 and 2014. She worked on a project intended to calculate energy consumption in the buildings at The Enbead, where she served as a freelance researcher and designer between 2014-15.
She worked as a creative manager at OutWork Alternative Media and Event Company. She continued her career as an industrial designer at ASAŞ Aluminum in 2017-2018 and Timsan GSE in 2019-2020.
Koşağan received her master’s degree (MSc) from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in the field of “Industrial Design-Service and Interface Design” between 2020-22 and continued her career at Userspots where she has been holding the position of project manager since 2020.
